Not advice, and not a registered adviser
TradeLab Enterprise is not registered with any securities regulator in Canada, including the British Columbia Securities Commission, or with any regulator in any other jurisdiction, as an adviser, dealer or portfolio manager. Nothing in TradeLab Enterprise is a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptocurrency or other asset, and nothing in it takes into account your personal financial situation, objectives or risk tolerance. Consider speaking with a qualified, registered professional before making investment decisions.
What the numbers are
- Pattern signals (W, R200, HLTB, BO52) are the output of fixed, mechanical rules applied to past prices. A signal means a rule's conditions were met, not that the price will move in any direction.
- Gate checks and suggested sizes are calculated from the bankroll and risk limits you enter. They do not account for gaps, slippage, fees, taxes or liquidity, and a position sized to "risk" a set amount can lose more than that amount if the price moves past your stop before your order fills.
- Historical replays and track records show how past signals would have resolved under simplified assumptions: no commissions, no slippage, no position limits. They are hypothetical, have well-known limitations, and are not indicative of future results. Past performance does not guarantee future returns.
The risks of trading
- You can lose some or all of the money you trade.
- Prices can gap past a stop-loss, so actual losses can exceed planned losses.
- Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, largely unregulated and can lose most of their value quickly.
- Leveraged and inverse products carry additional risks and can lose value even when the underlying asset moves as expected.
- Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
