Privacy Policy

Last updated September 23, 2026

The short version: we collect what we need to run your account, we don't sell it, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and you can delete everything from Settings at any time.

This Privacy Policy explains how TradeLab Enterprise ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use TradeLab Enterprise. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, as applicable.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your trading data to trade ourselves.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It is marked secure and HTTP-only, and cannot be read by other websites. Your display preferences (such as light or dark theme) are saved to your account so they follow you across devices. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run TradeLab Enterprise, only as needed for that purpose, and under contracts requiring them to protect it:

To show prices, the Service requests market data for the symbols on your watchlists from providers such as Yahoo Finance, Kraken and Coinbase. These requests contain ticker symbols, not your name, email or account details. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

5. Where your information is stored

TradeLab Enterprise's servers are located in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their authorities.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account in Settings, your account, books, trades, watchlists, journal, deposits and withdrawals, feedback and any Pro waiting-list entry are removed from our live database immediately and any active subscription is cancelled. Copies may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups expire. Stripe keeps billing records as required by law. Server logs are kept only for a short period.

7. Security

We protect information with measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, secure session cookies and access controls that keep each user's data separate. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You can view and change most of your information directly in the app, and delete your account at any time. You may also ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it (which may mean closing your account). Contact us at tradelabenterprise@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

9. Children

TradeLab Enterprise is not intended for anyone under the age of majority, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way we will notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.

11. Contact

Our privacy contact, who is responsible for our compliance with this policy, can be reached at tradelabenterprise@gmail.com.
